01What is the difference between the fixed marketing fee and the commission option?
The fixed-fee package pays for property presentation, promotion and buyer leads, while you handle negotiations and closing. Under the commission option, Blackfeet provides fuller marketing and enquiry coordination, and the 3% fee is payable only after a successful sale under an approved agreement.
02How much do you charge to market a home for sale?
You can choose the KES 3,000 fixed marketing-and-leads package or request full-service sale marketing at 3% of the completed sale price. The commission option has no upfront marketing fee.
03How much do you charge to market land for sale?
You can choose the KES 5,000 fixed marketing-and-leads package or request full-service land marketing at 3% of the completed sale price. The commission option is subject to Blackfeet reviewing the land and approving a written agreement.
04How do your rental finder fees work?
Residential rentals require a KES 1,000 activation fee plus 15% of one month's advertised rent when a Blackfeet-introduced tenant takes the property. Commercial rentals require a KES 3,000 activation fee plus 20% of one month's advertised rent on successful placement.
05When is the rental success fee due?
It becomes due when a tenant introduced through Blackfeet proceeds with the property—for example, by entering a tenancy, paying rent or a deposit, or taking possession. The activation fee is paid before marketing begins.
06Does paying a marketing fee guarantee a buyer or tenant?
No. The fee pays for the agreed marketing work and lead generation, but market demand, pricing, property condition and the owner's decisions affect the outcome. Blackfeet does not guarantee a sale, tenancy or a specific number of enquiries.
07Will my property go live immediately after I submit it?
No. A submission is saved privately first. Fixed-fee listings become eligible for review after payment, while commission listings require an approved agreement. Blackfeet still checks the details before deciding whether to publish.
08Can I preview my listing before it is published?
Yes. After submitting a property, you receive a private preview showing how the listing could appear publicly. The preview also shows whether a qualifying service has been attached and lets you choose the matching service.
09What information do I need to provide?
You should provide accurate ownership or authority details, location, property type, asking price or monthly rent, a useful description, current photographs and reliable contact information. Land sellers should also be ready to discuss title and access details.
10How will I receive enquiries and service updates?
Blackfeet coordinates enquiries connected to your paid or approved service. You can track the listing and its approval status in your customer account, and important updates may also be sent to the email address you provide.
11Can I submit a property first and purchase a service later?
Yes. Your property can remain as an unpublished private submission. From its private preview or your customer account, you can attach an eligible rental, fixed-fee sale or commission marketing service without submitting the property again.
12Are marketing or activation fees refundable?
Fees pay for service activation, preparation and marketing work, so they are generally not refundable once that work begins. Any exceptional refund or cancellation will depend on the circumstances, the work already performed and the applicable written agreement.
